CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER
Mayor Bill Krawietz called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM.

REPORTS AND PRESENTATIONS
2.A. Recognition of Bulverde Police Department Corporal Bryan Harshman for
ten years of service to the City of Bulverde.
Mayor Bill Krawietz presented a plaque of recognition to Corporal Bryan
Harshman.
2.B. Presentation of a Proclamation for Child Abuse Prevention Awareness
Month.
Mayor Bill Krawietz presented a Proclamation in recognition of Child Abuse
Prevention Awareness Month.
2.C. Presentation of a Proclamation for Sexual Assault Awareness Month
(SAAM).
Mayor Bill Krawietz presented a Proclamation in recognition of Sexual Assault
Awareness Month (SAAM) to the Crisis Center of Comal County.
2.D. Police Department: Monthly Report
Report given by Police Chief Gary Haecker.
2.E. Finance Department: Monthly Report
Report given by Finance Director Sharon Nelson
2.F. Public Works Update
Report given by Public Works Director Tim Parker.
2.G. Planning Department Update

CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS
3.A. Consider approval of the Special City Council Meeting Minutes from March
21, 2024.
3.B. Consider approval of the Special City Council Meeting Minutes from March
26, 2024.
Motion: Mayor Krawietz made a motion seconded by Council Member, Place 4
Hays to approve the Consent Agenda.
Vote: Motion carried (7) ayes to (0) nays.
REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS
4.A. Presentation by Mr. Nathan Hays regarding a proposed Eagle Scout project
in Bulverde Community Park and consideration by Council of possible
location.
Motion: Council Member, Place 6 Salmon made a motion seconded by Council
Member, Place 5 Alexandre to approve Mr. Nathan Hay's overall Eagle
Scout project concept, with preference of proposed location #1 for final
installation.
Vote: Motion carried (6) ayes, (0) nays, (1) abstain, with Council Member,
Place 4 Hays abstaining.
4.B. Discuss and consider approval of Texas Hill Country Kiwanis Club’s
donation of a wheelchair accessible swing (upon successful grant funding)
at Bulverde Community Park, with installation to occur at a future date and
after final installation location is identified.
Motion: Council Member, Place 4 Hays made a motion seconded by Council
Member, Place 2 Chapman to approve Texas Hill Country Kiwanis
Club’s donation of a wheelchair accessible swing (upon successful
grant funding) at Bulverde Community Park, with installation to occur at
a future date and after final installation location is identified.
Vote: Motion carried (7) ayes to (0) nays.
4.C. Consider a request from Lewis Creek Ranch Development, generally
located approximately 5,807 feet West of US Highway 281 and Elm Valley
Drive, for a twelve (12) month time extension per Section 1.04(e)(iii) of the
City of Bulverde Code of Ordinances for the Lewis Creek Master
Development Plan approval.
Motion: Council Member, Place 2 Chapman made a motion seconded by
Council Member, Place 4 Hays to approve a request from Lewis Creek
Ranch Development, generally located approximately 5,807 feet West
of US Highway 281 and Elm Valley Drive, for a twelve (12) month time
extension per Section 1.04(e)(iii) of the City of Bulverde Code of
Ordinances for the Lewis Creek Master Development Plan approval.
Vote: Motion carried (7) ayes to (0) nays.
PUBLIC COMMENTS NOT RELATED TO POSTED AGENDA ITEMS
Mayor Bill Krawietz opened the meeting for public comments not related to posted
agenda items at 7:32 PM. Four comments were received by Council. Public comments
closed at 7:43 PM.
REPORTS BY ELECTED OFFICIALS AND CITY STAFF ON ITEMS OF COMMUNITY
INTEREST
Council Member, Place 6 Salmon expressed her appreciation to the citizens and
Council Members for the opportunity to serve the City of Bulverde and looked forward
to serving again in the near future.
Mayor Krawietz provided positive comments on the community effort and service of
Council Member, Place 6 Salmon. Mayor Krawietz also commented on the Total
Eclipse response at Bulverde Community Park.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
At 7:46 PM the City Council convened into Executive Session to discuss the following:
7.A. The City Council will meet in closed session to seek the advice of legal
counsel about pending or contemplated litigation, to discuss a settlement
offer, or on matters in which the duty of the attorney to the City Council
under the Texas Rules of Professional Conduct conflict with the Texas
Open Meetings Act; to wit:
i. Catenary Vis, LLC Replatting, Corrective and Settlement Agreement
ii. Johnson Ranch Subdivision Agreement
At 8:14 PM the City Council reconvened from Executive Session and took the
following action on items discussed in Executive Session.
No Action Taken.
ADJOURNMENT
8:14 PM.
There being no further business to come before the City Council, the meeting was
adjourned.
