(Current Code) 1.3.1 Planning Area Boundary. The city’s planning jurisdiction is described on the official Planning Area Boundary Map of the City of Cabot, Arkansas. This map is filed with the City Clerk- Treasurer as well as with the Lonoke County Circuit Clerk. 1.3.2 Applicability. Those portions of this Code dealing with subdivision and development regulations apply to the entire Planning are. Those portions dealing with zoning apply only within the corporate limits of the City of Cabot. Specific applicability standards occur in the appropriate sections. Section 1.3. – Jurisdiction. (Proposed Code) 1.3.1 Planning Area Boundary. The city’s planning jurisdiction is described on the official Planning Area Boundary Map of the City of Cabot, Arkansas. This map is filed with the City Clerk Treasurer as well as with the Lonoke County Circuit Clerk. 1.3.1 Applicability. The provisions of this code apply to all development with the municipal boundaries of Cabot, as those boundaries exist now and as they may be amended in the future. Section 2-212. – Formulation and maintenance of plan of territory. (Current Code) a) The city planning commission shall formulate and maintain a plan of the territory within its planning jurisdiction in accordance with A.C.A. § 14-56-413. The plan shall at least embrace the subjects prescribed in A.C.A § 14-56-414 which shall be adopted by the commission by resolution after public hearings and notice as provided in A.C.A. § 14-56-422.
