RECOMMENDATION: Tour the revitalized fairgrounds BACKGROUND: The City of Calistoga will be holding a Special Meeting to tour and review "The Grounds" a revitalized fairgrounds located at 700 Event Center Drive in Roseville, CA 95678. The purpose of this Special Meeting is for the Council and public to tour a facility where historic infrastructure and traditional events are being combined with new and invigorated development for the greater good of its community, while driving economic impact to the area. Revitalization Director Sheli Wright will lead the tour of "The Grounds" on October 14, 2024. The Council and public attending will meet at 9:55 AM in front of main entrance marquee with the walking tour beginning promptly at 10:00 AM. The tour is expected to take one hour and at the end of the tour the Council will hear public comment from community members in attendance, participants are invited to share their input from this experience and how it could relate to the revitalization of the Calistoga fairgrounds. The public is welcome! Community members who wish to attend will need to use their own transportation.
