SPECIAL BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 1:30 PM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 1:32 PM. Director of Public Service John Highman and Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry were present. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. Visitor present was Patrick Barton, IT Director The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 11/24/2020 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 245/2016 Enter into Change Order No. 8 with Agile Network Builders, LLC dba Agile Networks to increase the dedicated internet connection for the City due to the installation of additional video feeds from safety cameras, which will increase the monthly fee from $765.00 to $964.00. Discussion: Per Director Barton, this will increase the City’s dedicated internet connection from 250 Mbps to 500 Mbps. As lines have been added for more video over the years, that has caused the service to slow down. Director Barton just received an email today regarding how the City’s Logos service has slowed, which will be resolved by the addition of this increase in internet connection. 16 cameras are being added, which will bog down the current network greatly. This addition will make the bandwidth bigger for the new allocations on our existing equipment. Agile Network can have the service increased as soon as possible. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced change order. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. Adjournment: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Meeting adjourned: 1:35 PM
