BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 9:00 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 9:02 AM. Director of Public Service John Highman was present. Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry was present for agenda item #5. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 2/16/2021 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 29/2021 Enter into a preliminary participatory legislation agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to replace water lines along State Route 172 from Perry Dr. to Saratoga Ave. NW and Perry Dr. from 12th St. SW to State Route 172. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced agreement. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 244/2020 Enter into contract with Michael R. Spencer, Inc. dba Mike Spencer Towing for as needed light duty towing services. This contract shall be effective April 1, 2021 for a period of three years. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 3. Ordinance 244/2020 Enter into contract with Canton Recovery, LLC for as needed light duty towing services. This contract shall be effective April 1, 2021 for a period of three years. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 4. Ordinance 244/2020 Enter into contract with Conley’s Service & Towing, LLC for as needed light duty and heavy duty towing services. This contract shall be effective April 1, 2021 for a period of three years. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced contract.  4.
