SPECIAL BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Special Board of Control meeting was held Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 11:00 AM. Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry was present. Director of Public Service John Highman was excused. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 2/11/2021 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 26/2021 Enter into a conditional grant agreement with Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00 utilizing 2175 Comprehensive Plan Funds in order to restore an airline route to Akron- Canton Airport through the Commercial Air Service Restoration Program. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced agreement. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. Adjournment: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Meeting adjourned: 11:02 AM
