BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 9:00 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Director of Public Safety, Andrea Perry called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Director of Public Service John Highman was also present. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. Board President, Mayor Bernabei was excused. Visitors presents were Director Rollin Seward and Tammy Hajdu from the Department of Development. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 3/2/2021 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 87/2020 Enter into an agreement with Canton City Schools in the amount of $115,497.00 in CDBG funds in order to administer the Promotion of Education & Employment Project (PEEP) to assist 30 high school seniors and 20 juniors who are working and need assistance to stay on track to graduate and transition from high school into college and/or work. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Director Highman made a motion to approve the above referenced agreement. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 198/2018 Enter into Change Order No. 1 & Final with CT Consultants, Inc. for a cost reduction in the amount of $118,691.04 for the oversight services on the Canton South Phase I Water Main Extension Project, in order to close out the project, resulting in a new contract amount of $160,458.96. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Director Highman made a motion to approve the above referenced change order. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried.
