SPECIAL BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Special Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 1:00PM. Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry and Director of Public Service John Highman were present. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. Visitor present was Tammy Hajdu from the Department of Development. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 7/13/2021 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 85/2021 Enter into contract with Stark Housing Network, Inc. utilizing Emergency Solutions Grant ESG-CV funds in the amount of $34,750.00 pursuant to the CARES Act to assist with the administration of ESG-CV Round II funding to support the salaries/wages and related costs of staff engaged in the ESG-CV program oversight, management, monitoring and evaluation. Discussion: Mayor Bernabei clarified that this is part of the CARES Act. He also asked what the “V” stood for in CV. Tammy Hajdu stated that it stood for COVID. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. Adjournment: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Director Perry seconded. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Meeting adjourned: 1:02 PM
