BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 9:00 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 9:02 AM. Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry and Director of Public Service John Highman were present. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 8/17/2021 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 38/2020 Enter into a contract amendment to the funding agreement dated December 22, 2020 with the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce which provided a grant in an amount not to exceed $175,000.00 per year for two years for the purpose of industrial, economic, commercial and civic development of the community. This amendment shall amend and replace Exhibit A of the original agreement in its entirety. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced contract amendment. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 158/2021 Enter into Change Order No. 1 & Final with Central Allied Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $21,500.00 for the St. George’s Streetscape Project, GP1333, in order to close out the project, resulting in a new contract amount of $104,325.00. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced change order.  Discussion: No discussion.
