BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 9:00 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 9:02 AM. Director of Public Service John Highman was present. Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry was excused. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 10/26/2021 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 132/2021 Award and enter into a five-year sub-lease agreement with MOB Acquisitions, LLC in the total amount of $600.00 per month, which includes $150.00 per month for rent and $450.00 per month for a gas & electric fee, for the lease of space at 215 W. Tuscarawas St. for the purpose of operating a restaurant/snack bar, ice rink and entertainment area. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced agreement. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 244/2020 Enter into Change Order No. 1 & Final with Specialized Construction, Inc. in the amount of $3,109.99 for the 2021 Chip Seal Program, GP1352 due to additional prep work for vegetation and street cleaning on Gibbs Ave., resulting in a new contract amount of $88,247.59.
