SPECIAL BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Special Board of Control meeting was held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 9:30 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 9:31 AM. Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry and Director of Public Service John Highman were present. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 8/10/2022 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 43/2022 Enter into Contract Amendment No. 1 for the Subaward Grant Agreement with Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio utilizing ARPA funds for a playground and community gathering space at the Compton Learning Center. This will amend the prevailing wage requirements; clarify the funds are for playground equipment only and commit the amount of $350,000.00 of ARPA funds for the equipment. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced amendment. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Motion carried.
