BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes The Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 9:00 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Director of Public Service, John Highman was present. Director of Public Safety, Andrea Perry was excused. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. Visitor present was Mayor-Elect Bill Sherer. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 12/5/2023 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 50/2023 Enter into a professional services agreement with Orchard, Hiltz, McCliments, Inc. dba OHM Advisors in an amount not to exceed $250,000.00 for the design of the Cleveland Ave. Streetscape Project, Phase 3, GP1392. Discussion: Mayor Bernabei had a question about the legal name of Orchard, Hiltz, McCliments, Inc. dba OHM Advisors. After the meeting, Director Highman provided Mayor Bernabei with information stating that this is correct. Additionally, this contract is for the design only of the project. The project limits will run from 12th St. to 25th St. It will be determined at a later date if the construction will move forward depending on funding availability. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced agreement. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance TBD Ordinance 224/2023 Enter into a professional services agreement with Burgess & Niple Ltd. in an amount not to exceed $46,800.00 for the design of the 42” East Side Interceptor Rehabilitation Project, GP1441.
