BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes The Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 8:30 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Sherer called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM. Director of Public Service, John Highman was present. Director of Public Safety, Andrea Perry was excused. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 8/26/2025 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 122/2025 Award and enter into contract with Metro Demolition, LLC in the amount of $149,000.00 for the Demolition of 2408 13th St NE, Parcels 205230 & 205231 (Former Ohio Cast Products building). Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 236/2024 Award and enter into a construction contract with Lockhart Concrete Co. in the amount of $849,188.00 for the Sherrick Rd. SE Area Improvements Project, GP1465. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried.  Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. Adjournment: Mayor Sherer made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Director Highman seconded.
