BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes The Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 8:30 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Sherer called the meeting to order at 8:36 AM. Director of Public Service, John Highman was present. Director of Public Safety, Andrea Perry was excused. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 12/9/2025 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 105/2024 Enter into a contract amendment with Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health which received $55,000.00 in CDBG funds for classroom renovations, in order to extend the contract expenditure deadline from December 31, 2025 to March 31, 2026. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced amendment. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 139/2024 Enter into Change Order No. 1 & Final with Stanley Miller Construction Co. for a cost reduction in the amount of $7,556.15 for the Cherry Ave. NE Streetscape Project, GP1427, in order to close out the project, resulting in a new contract amount of $155,048.85. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced change order. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried.  Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 3. Ordinance 236/2024 Enter into Change Order No. 1 & Final with E.L. Robinson Engineering of Ohio Co. for a cost reduction in the amount of $20,805.56 for the Design of the Cherry Ave. Bridge Sidewalk Widening, in order to close out the project, resulting in a new contract amount of $13,217.44. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced change order. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried.
