Our first speaker is, and I hope I say this correctly, David Kerestes…Kerestes. Okay, could you please approach and…uh…give us your name and your residential address and try to speak into our microphone thank you. DAVID KERESTES: My name is David Kerestes. I stay at 715 2nd St NE Canton, Ohio 44704. I’m here tonight…uh…I have been seeking multiple help from multiple agencies of embezzlement from the Refuge of Hope out of the Huntington Grant Fund. Uh…I couldn’t get any help from the prosecutors, Building Department, or anybody in this City at all. What I’m here for tonight is to also tell you, what also is going on other than that embezzlement that I’m going to expose on Thursday in court at 9:30. Uh…I used to work for this place called FX Car Wash. And…uh…what happened at that time is I had (inaudible) was hit in the head. And I had the knots and (inaudible), but what I woke up too was working and I told how much I made an hour for force to work in the rain without proof. And uh…through this there’s the owner who hung himself. The Perry Police Department never decided to really run an investigation. And what they would find out is that John Fox and (inaudible) were paying everybody cash in an envelope and there was no tax records for that business. They were embezzling federal…I’m sorry they were putting drug money into their corporation when they were collecting checks and then paying us on Tuesdays with cash envelopes. So, you know that brings me into like what I believe would be selective law. Then in 1974 so, you have this story here, FBI deserves front page and it’s just quite clearly states…for more than twenty years FBI headquarters in Washington, knew that (inaudible) were using hitmen and mob leaders as informants and shielding them from prosecution. So, for me I could never get any justice from (inaudible) the Canton cop (inaudible) beat my ten year old daughter black and blue and that was covered up. And Lieutenant Swank when he was a patrolman, was having sex with my wife. And outside of ethical conduct when he hurt his K-9 unit dog Bear, you seem to have lost all these reports while I have a great memory. And I thank you, but I’ll be sending this to the Ohio Attorney General along with affidavits. Appreciate your time. PRESIDENT BATES AYLWARD: Thank you, sir. Our next speaker is Erick Freeman and if you could approach and give us your name and residential address. ERICK FREEMAN: Yes, can you hear me. PRESIDENT BATES AYLWARD: Yes. ERICK FREEMAN: Alright. Yes, my name is Erick Freeman 1129 7th NW Canton, Ohio 44703. Uh…I’m here because I’m kind of concerned. Uh…I’m concerned about some public art. To my understanding that uh…the building at 1014 Cleveland Ave. NW which is Enrichment is moving. And therefore, we have a mural of Macy Grey, Savion Glover, as well as two metal sculptures of animals…that will be left there in front of this building. I’m not sure if the building is going to be torn down, but you know people talk…and that’s kind of what’s being assumed. I don’t want to assume anything, but in the event that this building is destroyed, my artwork as well as one of our other local artist…art works…will be part…of the destruction. So, I’m trying to…uh…find a solution if I could. I would like to find a solution maybe we can…uh…we can relocate them. To my understanding the City owns at least two of the pieces that are at this address…I’m not sure, but that’s what I’m being told. As far as my work that sits there, uh…I…you know I don’t have a huge truck to move this thing, but it would be nice if we could possibly collaborate and relocate these works. Maybe to the designated art area in Nimisilla Park or in front of our studio which is over off of Cherry. That’s it. KIMBERLEY BELL: Kimberly Bell 1733 Morris Ave. Uh…I….I wanted…I, you know, give you part two of what I spoke about last week about Metropolitan Public Housing situation for my rent doubled. Uh…ok so, when I…when I told you all that my rent doubled, I didn’t get to finish saying…you all have $100,000.00 homes and my…my mom has maybe a $100,000.00 home…or a little less. And I told her I live in a three room apartment and my rent doubled, come March first. And she said…how…what you mean it doubled? I said it went up to $456.00. And she said my mortgage is not even that and I live in a Can…I live in a house in Canton Township. And what makes my (inaudible) you would…you all wouldn’t pay $400.00…$500.00 for a three room apartment. So, why should my $400.00 be different from your $456.00. I’m asking to hel…you know to… just like I saw Jelly Roll on…on…a couple weeks ago and went Congress talking about the Fentanyl problem, we got a homeless problem here in America. It was a…it was a cold uh…weekend, Martin Luther King week where, the Mayor…and I can’t say it was his fault because…he…he’s new to this game. And he can’t remember every…he can’t know to do everything, that’s why he got people to help him, but I’m not here to talk to the cold and that. I’m talking about homelessness and Metropolitan. A…a mother…my niece leaves in the property, hers is 50 something dollars because she doesn’t have job. It’s based on income, but it’s been based on income since the 70’s. My aunt used to live in Mahoning Manor, but it needs to be…you all didn’t know this, I’m pretty sure, but now I’m bringing it to you so you can take it to Congress or wherever cause I can talk to I’m blue in the face. I have to bring it to my leaders who we voted in office about these problems so you can take it to Congress. And tell them listen this is not fair. You’re punishing them for getting a job? I mean how do you expect them to improve their lifestyle or improve their living for their children if the rent went from $50.00 in a three bedroom house cause they didn’t have the income all the way up to $600.00? Now she’s robbing Peter to pay Paul to pay the rent. Either you buy…she’s got to pay the rent, pay for…her car note, pay car insurance, pay for the bills in the house, how can the kids gets clothes and food if all of this is going on because you got a job. Or because I got a job. I mean we got…I’m bringing it to you, so you can take…I called Emilia Sykes, she’s busy. I said no she’s not. Every time I call she’s busy. Impossible so, I’m bringing it to you to take it to Emilia…take me to Congress, I’ll talk like Jelly Roll did about the (Buzzer) about the homeless problem. Part three next week.
