OLD BUSINESS: None
PUBLIC SPEAKS: Kim Bell spoke her concerns with the amount of large potholes in the City. David Beck,
the owner of 2scoops Ice Cream, thanked Council and the community for their support. Kingstin Lindsey
believes that the City should have better financial control to make a stronger community. Skylark Bruce, Rosie
Riell, Mama D, Stephanie Ferrell, Bennett Parker, Joe Kale, Alyssa Harrah, James Gibson, and Lorinda Johnson
all spoke out about homelessness in the City and the struggles that come with it. They also took a moment of
silence for their friend, Joselynn Stanley, a homeless person who got hit by a train last week. Erika Foster spoke
about the shooting death of her son, Braylon Foster. Jerry Amilove gave a thank you to CPD for helping him get
into the Refuge of Hope after being homeless. Justin Nicely addressed issues from last Council meeting
involving CPD and CPS.

CITY ANNOUNCEMNETS: Mayor Sherer informed Council that a Press Conference will be held on
Wednesday at 10:00 AM at The Refuge of Hope to provide information about the Warming Centers that will be
available for the upcoming winter season. He also announced that a new shower bus will be revealed and
available daily from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and shared that the City will be partnering with Sarta and Safety
Forces to provide transportation to Warming Stations for those in need. He also reminded everyone about the
upcoming Trunk-or-Treat events taking place this week: Thursday at Stadium Park from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM,
Friday downtown from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday at the Edward "Peel" Coleman Community Center
from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS: Member Cooks addressed concern about potholes mentioned in Public
Speaks. Service Director Highman informed everyone to reach out and report potholes to the Streets
Department or to enter the information into "See Click Fix". Member Giavasis gave a reminder to the
community that Council does not support any funding with the Hall of Fame Village.
