PURPOSE: The purpose of this item is for the Board of Aldermen to authorize the Town Manager to award a contract with Stantec to conduct an operational analysis regarding the feasibility of modifying the East Main Street cross section design to accommodate bicycle lanes. Milian Associates, on behalf of Carr Mill Limited Partnership, has submitted an application for a minor modification to the existing Carr Mill Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to allow Improvements to the Weaver Street Market yard, an expansion of the Café into existing covered walkway, and the widening of the Weaver St. sidewalk. PUBLIC HEARING 1. 17-593 Continuation of Public Hearing on a Request for Voluntary Annexation of Property Contiguous to the Town Limits PURPOSE: The purpose of this item is for the Board of Aldermen to receive public comment on a request for voluntary annexation of two properties, 905 and 921 Homestead Road. An ordinance annexing these properties into the Town limits is provided for the Board’s use .
