Item No. 1. CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR
A closed session will be held, pursuant to Government Code § 54956.8, to enable
the Housing Authority to consider negotiations with Jeff Edgrin, Affirmed Housing
Group, with whom City is negotiating, and to give direction to its negotiator(s)
Nelson Hernandez, Executive Director and Abelardo Avalos, Community
Development Director, regarding that certain real property known as 401
Sepulveda Blvd., Carson, California. The Authority’s real property negotiator will
seek direction from the Authority Board regarding the price and terms of payment
for the property.

A closed session will be held, pursuant to Government Code § 54956.8, to enable
the Housing Authority to consider negotiations with Kasey Burke, Meta Housing
Corporation with whom the Housing Authority is negotiating, and to give direction
to its negotiators Nelson Hernandez, Executive Director and Abelardo Avalos,
Community Development Director regarding that certain real property at 218 W.
Carson Street. The Authority's real property negotiator will seek direction from the
Authority Board regarding the price, conditions and terms of payment for the
property.

DEALERSHIP AND ADOPTING RESOLUTION NO.
15-004, ESTABLISHING PREFERENTIAL PERMIT
PARKING ZONE "D" AND REGULATING PARKING
WITHIN THE ZONE
Recommendation: TAKE the following actions:
1. WAIVE further reading and ADOPT Resolution No. 15-004,
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING PREFERENTIAL
PARKING ZONE "D" AND REGULATING PARKING WITHIN
THE ZONE."
2. AUTHORIZE the City Manager to formulate an agreement
with the Kia dealership that would require Car Pros Kia to pay
for the initial costs of the residential permit parking program; i .e.,
$25.00 per household. Fees for additional vehicles and guest
permits would be waived.
3. AUTHORIZE the City Manager to enter into a lease
agreement with Car Pros Kia to lease up to 50 parking spaces in
the City's parking lot to be used for employee parking for the
remainder of 2015 or until the new Kia site on Recreation Road
is occupied.

general fund balance to account no. 01-30-000-003 6018 as an
added appropriation for FY 2014/15, to cover the cost of the
special election.
