Community Development Director regarding that certain real property known as
21205 Main Street, Carson, CA. The Authority's real property negotiator will seek
direction from the Authority Board regarding the price, conditions and terms of

Recommendation: TAKE the following actions:
1) APPROVE a two-year extension of the professional services
agreement with Hinderliter, de Llamas & Associates to provide
sales, use and tax audits and information services, in the
estimated amount of $190,000.00 per year, beginning July 1,
2015, through June 30, 2017.
2) AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the extension of the
agreement following approval as to form by the City Attorney

THE CITY OF CARSON'S FIXED-ROUTE BUS
SYSTEM, THE CARSON CIRCUIT
Recommendation: TAKE the following actions:
1. WAIVE the bidding procedure as defined in the Carson
Municipal Code Section 2604(a) (Exhibit No. 3)
2. AUTHORIZE the City of Carson to piggy-back off of RFP No.
11-03, MBTA/CalACT cooperative bid (Exhibit No. 4).
3. APPROVE the purchase of one (1) 30-seat CNG Blue Bird All
American T3RE bus and one (1) 36-seat Clean Diesel Glaval
Legacy bus at a total cost of $580,000.00.
4. APPROPRIATE $260,000.00 from Proposition C Local
Return funds, and $120,000.00 from the Air Quality
Management District (AQMD) fund for a total cost of
$380,000.00 to account nos. 9-90-999-180-8002 and
25-90-830-075-8002, respectively for the purchase of one (1)
30-seat CNG Blue Bird All American T3RE bus.
5. APPROPRIATE $200,000.00 from rent proceeds received
from Caltrans for the use of property located at 2403 E. 223rd
Street to account no. 01-99-999-004-8002 to be used to
purchase one (1) 36-seat Clean Diesel Glaval Legacy bus.

Recommendation: AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the agreement between the
City of Carson and MV Transportation, Inc. to operate the City of
Carson's fixed-route bus system, the Carson Circuit, for the
period January 1, 2016, through December 31, 2021, with two
one-year extensions based on performance, following approval
as to form by the City Attorney. The five year total amount is
$8,100,323.00.

Environmental Commission, which appointment shall be made
by the Chair of the Housing Authority subject to ratification by a
majority vote of the Housing Authority.

Recommendation: Mayor Robles to TAKE the following actions:
1. CONSIDER the status of any City Council Sub-Committee as
listed on Exhibit No. 1.
2. CONSIDER and CREATE any new City Council
Sub-Committees in accordance with Standard Management
Procedure No. 1.45 and DETERMINE if the same are "standing
committees" or "ad hoc committees." (Exhibit No. 2)
3. DESIGNATE member assignments to the City Council
Sub-Committees.
4. APPOINT a chairperson to each City Council
Sub-Committee.
