Item No. 4. 2015-841 CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION Recommendation: A closed session will be held, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1), to confer with legal counsel regarding pending litigation to which the City is a party. The title of such litigation is as follows: Stephen Ross vs. the City of Carson; Case Number WCAB Nos. ADJ 3228655 and ADJ 2910365; Court Name Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. Item No. 5. 2015-840 CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR (SUCCESSOR AGENCY) Recommendation: A closed session will be held, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8, to enable the City Council to consider negotiations with Main Land Property, LLC, with whom City is negotiating, and to give direction to its negotiators Kenneth Farfsing, Interim City Manager and John Raymond, Community and Economic Development regarding that certain real property 17505 Main Street, APN 7339-003-900. The City's real property negotiator will seek direction from the City Council regarding the price to be paid for the property. Item No. 6. 2015-848 CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR (CITY COUNCIL) Recommendation: A closed session will be held, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8, to enable the Successor Agency to consider negotiations with Carson Holdings, LLC and it's negotiator, Law Firm of Latham & Watkins, with whom Reclamation Authority and City Council are negotiating, for lease and price and terms, and to give direction to its negotiator(s) Authority and Council Attorney Sunny K. CONSIDER and PROVIDE direction on questions 1-6 presented herein. Should the Council wish to extend the UUT, a ballot measure seeking approval must be placed before the voters, and the following actions in Recommendations Nos. 2-3 will need to take place.
