Phoenix Tower International and to give direction to its negotiators,
Kenneth C. Farfsing, City Manager and/or, John Raymond,
Director of Community Development and Sunny Soltani, City
Attorney, regarding that certain real property known as APN:
7329-035-900. The City Council's real property negotiator will
seek direction from the City Council member regarding the price
and terms of payment for the property.

Recommendation: TAKE the following actions:
1. APPROVE Amendment No. 2 to the Contract to provide
installation maintenance and monitoring of access alarms systems
and CCTV: (i) to memorilize the $41,200 of system upgrades
approved on March 7, 2017; and (ii) to extend the term of the
Agreement through April 30, 2018; for a new contract sum of
$261,121.17.
2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 2, following
approval as to form by City Attorney.

Recommendation: 1. APPROVE Contract Amendment No. 5 with Goodwill Industries
to provide routine maintenance of the City of Carson's bus stops
and selected bus shelters in the amount of $7,318.02 per month,
for a total cost of $87,816.24, for the period of January 1, 2018,
through December 31, 2018 (Exhibit No. 2).
2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the Goodwill Industries

1. WAIVE the formal process for bidding and competitive
proposals defined by the Carson Municipal Code, Chapter 6, of
Title II, pursuant to Carson Municipal Code section 2611(i)(11);
and
2. APPROVE Resolution 17-168 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
OF CARSON CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR
2017-18 BUDGET IN THE GENERAL FUND", following approval
as to form by the City Attorney; and
3. APPROVE the issuance of a purchase order for bulk purchase
of gasoline and diesel fuel from Southern Counties Oil Company,
dba SC Fuels at a total cost of $203,400 for the period of January
2, 2018 through June 30, 2018; and
4. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the purchase order, following
approval as to form by the City Attorney.
