CITY COUNCIL ANNUAL REPORT OF THE CEDAR FALLS PUBLIC LIBRARY Library Meeting Room January 26, 2026 The City Council attended a presentation of the Cedar Falls Public Library’s annual report by Library Director Kelly Stern at 5 p.m. on January 26, 2026. The following persons attended Mayor Danny Laudick; Council Members Hanna Crisman, Kelly Dunn, Aaron Hawbaker, and Tom Nagle; Friends of the Library Members Mary Ellen Beckman, Rhonda Braley, and Carol Brown; staff members Jennifer Rodenbeck and Rebekah Hosford. Kelly Stern presented statistical and anecdotal highlights of library operations during FY25 and a summary of programs and services offered to library patrons. A question-and-answer session followed the presentation, including questions and comments about the vision for the library’s near future. The meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
