Open Space Advisory Board MINUTES DATE: November 18, 2014 TIME: 6:00 PM LOCATION: *COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 13133 E. ARAPAHOE ROAD* AGENDA 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 6:03 p.m. 2. Note Attendance and Determination of Quorum Those present were: Chair Karen Hamilton Tom Wood Gail Wells Leah Baker-Camper Ron Monk Olivia Mayer Those absent were: Craig Klosterman Also present were: Andrew Firestine, Community Development Director Daniel Krzyzanowski, Principal Planner Karen Brookes, Staff and recording secretary Mark Gotto, Council Member Keith Gardner, Council Member Robyn Zagoren, Littleton Public Schools 3. Approval of Minutes Tom Wood motioned and Leah Baker-Camper seconded approval of the September 23, 2014 minutes. All members present voted aye and the minutes were approved 4. Additions to Agenda There were no additions to the agenda. 5. General Public Comments There were no public comments. Agenda – Open Space Advisory Board November 18, 2014 Page 2 6. Discussion Items a. Littleton Public Schools Neighborhood Parks Request – Newton Middle School Robyn Zagoren, Littleton Public Schools, presented. Motion made to Approve made by Karen Hamilton and Tom Wood seconded. Passed For: 6; Against: 0; Abstain: 0; Absent: 1 b. Xeric Garden update - Andrew Firestine, Community Development Director, presented. 7. Action Items 8. Other Business There was some discussion on a request to assist Walnut Hills Civic Association with a potential disc golf course. Walnut Hills Civic Association and SSPRD have been asked to attend an OSAB meeting in December, January or February to present additional information. 9.
