CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL
Study Session
6:00 PM Monday, December 01, 2014
A Study Session of the City Council was held on this date in the City Council Chambers at 13133
E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been
posted and a quorum was present.
A. Call to Order
Mayor Noon called the meeting to order at 6:04 PM.

Craig Faessler, Public Works Program Director, introduced Mike Nelson, Public Works Field
Operations Manager, to the Mayor and Council.

Eric Eddy, Assistant to the City Manager, and Kimber Liss, Court Administrator, and Elisha
Thomas, Assistant City Manager presented. Jim Albee, Budget Committee member, made a
brief statement.

Elisha Thomas, Assistant City Manager, Eric Eddy, Assistant to the City Manager, presented.
Guthrie Schaffer, Budget Committee member made a brief statement.
The following Executive Sessions were moved to the Study Session from the Regular Meeting
agenda.
i. Executive Session Pursuant to C.R.S. Section 24-6-402(4)(e) and (b) to Devise
Negotiation Strategy and Receive Legal Advice Concerning Local Government Efforts
to Repeal Statewide Limitations on Municipal Broadband Services and Implications of
Former SB 152
ii. Executive Session Pursuant to C.R.S. Section 24-6-402(4)(e) to Devise Negotiation
Strategy and to Negotiate the Terms of Required Consent Under an Existing Legal
Services Contract
Council Member Lucas moved to go into Executive Session Pursuant to C.R.S. Section 24-6-
402(4)(e) and (b) to Devise Negotiation Strategy and Receive Legal Advice Concerning Local
Government Efforts to Repeal Statewide Limitations on Municipal Broadband Services and
Implications of Former SB 152 and Pursuant to C.R.S. Section 24-6-402(4)(e) to Devise
Negotiation Strategy and to Negotiate the Terms of Required Consent Under an Existing Legal
Services Contract.
With Mayor Noon, Council Member Gardner, Council Member Moon, Council Member Piko,
Council Member Lucas, Council Member Turley, Council Member Truhlar, Council Member
Gotto, Council Member Whelan voting AYE, and (None) voting NAY; Absent: 0. THE MOTION
Passed.

There being no further business to discuss, the Study Session was adjourned at 7:00 PM.
