MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Regular City Council Meeting 7:00 PM Monday, July 19, 2021 A Regular Meeting of the City Council was held on this date in the Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. Mayor Piko opened the public hearing. Ken Wolff, 3800 E. Otero Circ., gave comments in opposition of fast-food restaurants with drive- throughs. Lisa Dekevich, 2570 E. Easter Ave., gave comments in support of ordinance. Jane Mataich, 6958 S. Knolls Way, gave comments in opposition. Andrea Suhaka, 6864 S. Ulster Cir., gave comments in support but expressed some concerns. Andrew Spaulding, 1019 E Easter Way, Southglenn Civic Association, expressed concerns with the Ordinance. Seeing no one else wishing to speak, Mayor Piko closed the Public Hearing. Council Member Turley moved to Approve ORDINANCE NO. 2021-O-07 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTENNIAL, COLORADO AMENDING CHAPTER 12 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE (LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE) CONCERNING MIXED USE, NON-RESIDENTIAL DESIGN STANDARDS, AND RESTAURANTS WITH DRIVE-THROUGH. Council Member Moon seconded the motion. With Mayor Piko, Council Member Turley, Council Member Alston, Council Member Holt, Council Member Moon, Council Member Sheehan, Council Member Sutherland, Council Member Sweetland voting AYE, and Council Member Maurer voting NAY; Absent: 0. VACP-20-00001; 9:21 PM Council Member Sweetland made a brief statement and recused herself from the public hearing. Michael Gradis, Senior Planner, presented. Mayor Piko opened the Public Hearing. Dusty Laird, 355 E Geddes Ave, provided comments in support of the Ordinance. Seeing no one else wishing to speak, Mayor Piko closed the Public Hearing.
