MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Regular City Council Meeting 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 16, 2024 A Regular Meeting of the City Council was held on this date in the Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. 1 Call to Order Mayor Piko called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM. 2 Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Piko Council Member Tharp Council Member Carnes Council Member Sweetland Council Member Maurer Councilmember Sutherland Council Member Holt Council Member Alston Council Member Sheehan Those absent were: None Also present were: Matt Sturgeon, City Manager Chris Price, Deputy City Attorney Lisa Gajowski, Administrative Analyst Summer Greenwood, City Records Administrator 3 Pledge of Allegiance Mayor Piko led the Pledge of Allegiance. 4 Public Comment Andrea Suhaka, 6864 S Ulster Cir, noted that her daughter lives in England and has dual citizenship. Mayor Pro Tem Maurer moved to go into executive session pursuant to C.R.S. Section 24-6- 402(4)(b) for the purpose of receiving legal advice on specific legal questions regarding implementation of recent housing legislation.
