MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Special Meeting 6:00 PM Wednesday, January 04, 2012 A Special Meeting of the City Council was held on this date in the City Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. 1. Call to Order Mayor Noon called the meeting to order at 6:02 PM. 2. Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Noon Council Member Dindinger Council Member Gardner Council Member Bosier Council Member Anderson Council Member Miller Council Member Weidmann Council Member Moon Council Member Elect Lucas Council Member Elect Piko Those absent were: Council Member McClellan, excused Also present were: Dave Zelenok, Interim City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Wayne Reed, Deputy City Manager/Director of Community Development Elisha Thomas, Assistant City Manager/Director of Support Services Mike Connor, Deputy Director of Public Works Marie White, Director of Human Resources Dawn Priday, Director of Finance Allison Wittern, Public Information and Special Events Manager Brenda Madison, City Clerk Barbara Setterlind, Deputy City Clerk 3. Parting Comments from Outgoing Council Members and Presentation of Gifts Mayor Noon expressed thanks and presented gifts to outgoing Council Members Todd Miller and Patrick Anderson. Swearing-in of New City Council Members Honorable Judge Ford Wheatley led the swearing-in of returning City Council Members Vorry Moon and Keith Gardner, and new City Council Members Ken Lucas and Stephanie Piko. 5. Reception Honoring Outgoing and New City Council Members The meeting was recessed for a cake reception hosted by members of the Centennial Election Commission. 6. Adjourn There being no further business to discuss, the Study Session was adjourned at 6:28 PM.
