CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL
Study Session
6:00 PM Monday, November 01, 2010
A Study Session of the City Council was held on this date in the City Council Chambers at 13133
E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been
posted and a quorum was present.
A. Call to Order
Mayor Noon called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
B. Roll Call
Those present were: Mayor Noon
Council Member Dindinger
Council Member Gardner
Council Member Bosier
Council Member McClellan
Council Member Anderson
Council Member Miller
Council Member Weidmann
Council Member Moon
Those absent were: None
Also present were: Jacque Wedding-Scott, City Manager
Bob Widner, City Attorney
Dave Zelenok, Director of Public Works
Mike Connor, Deputy Director of Public Works
John Merritt, Public Works
Wayne Reed, Director of Planning and Development
Don Wright, Support Services Manager

Cable - Briefing/Discussion; 6:05 PM
Dave Zelenok, Director of Public Works, made a brief introduction. John Merritt, Public Works,
presented.
D. Deferred Code Items - Council Policy Dialogue; 6:33 PM
Wayne Reed, Director of Planning and Development, introduced the Council Policy Dialogue on
Deferred Code Items.
The meeting was recessed at 7:49 PM for the Regular Meeting and reconvened at 8:40 PM.

E. Animal Sheltering Services - Council Policy Dialogue; 8:41 PM
Wayne Reed, Director of Planning and Development, presented.
Joe Stafford, Field Services Manager, Animal Control, answered questions from Council.
The Executive Sessions were moved from the Regular Meeting to the end of the Study Session.
F. Executive Sessions
a. C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) & (a) to Determine Positions Relative to Negotiations,
Develop Negotiation Strategy, and Instruct Negotiators Concerning a
Potential Annexation Opportunity and to Discuss the Purchase, Acquisition
of Real Property
b. C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) to Develop Negotiation Strategy and Instruct
Negotiators Regarding Financing Opportunities Associated with the
Southglenn Metropolitan District’s Bond Program for Public Improvements
Council Member Weidmann moved to go into Executive Session pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-
402(4)(e) & (a) to determine positions relative to negotiations, develop negotiation strategy, and
instruct negotiators concerning a potential annexation opportunity and to discuss the purchase,
acquisition of real property and pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) to develop negotiation
strategy and instruct negotiators regarding financing opportunities associated with the
Southglenn Metropolitan District’s Bond Program for public improvements. Council Member
Bosier seconded the motion.
With Mayor Noon, Council Member Dindinger, Council Member Gardner, Council Member
Bosier, Council Member McClellan, Council Member Anderson, Council Member Miller, Council
Member Weidmann, Council Member Moon voting AYE, and (None) voting NAY; Abstain: 0;
Absent: 0. THE MOTION Passed.
Upon reconvening, all Council Members agreed that only topics announced were discussed in
the Executive Session.
F. Adjourn
There being no further business to discuss, the Study Session was adjourned at 11:20 PM.
