MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Study Session 6:00 PM Monday, August 01, 2011 A Study Session of the City Council was held on this date in the City Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. A. Call to Order Mayor Noon called the meeting to order at 6:02 PM. B. Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Noon Council Member Dindinger Council Member Gardner Council Member Bosier Council Member McClellan Council Member Miller Council Member Weidmann Council Member Moon Those absent were: Council Member Anderson, excused Also present were: Jacque Wedding-Scott, City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Wayne Reed, Director of Community Development Edward Stafford, City Engineer Susie Ellis, Code Enforcement Manager Britton Thomas, Senior Engineer Mike Connor, Deputy Director of Public Works James Clanton, Senior Management Analyst Don Wright, Support Services Manager Brenda Madison, City Clerk Barbara Setterlind, Deputy City Clerk C. Sight Distance Triangles - Council Policy Dialogue; 6:04 PM Wayne Reed, Director of Community Development, made a brief introduction. Edward Stafford, Deputy Director of Public Works/City Engineer, presented. Susie Ellis, Code Enforcement Manager, answered questions from Council. Bob Widner, City Attorney, answered questions from Council. The meeting reconvened at 9:21 PM. Wayne Reed made a brief re-introduction. Council continued the discussion regarding sight- distance triangles. Council Member Dindinger made a motion to adjourn. Council Member Weidmann seconded. Council Member Dindinger amended the motion to postpone item D, and adjourn the meeting after the discussion concerning item E. Council Member Weidmann seconded the amendment. With Council Member Dindinger, Council Member Miller and Council Member Weidmann voting AYE, and Council Member Gardner, Council Member Bosier, Council Member Moon and Mayor Noon voting NAY; Absent: 1. THE MOTION Failed. D. Right-of-Way Obstructions - Council Policy Dialogue; 11:55 PM This item was postponed to a future Study Session Agenda date. E. 2011 Land Development Code Amendments Regarding Use of Public Right-of- Way (ROW) and Permitting Process for Wireless Telecommunications Facilities; 10:14 PM Wayne Reed, Director of Community Development, presented. F. Adjourn There being no further business to discuss, the Study Session was adjourned at 11:58 P.M.
