MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Study Session 6:00 PM Monday, August 08, 2011 A Study Session of the City Council was held on this date in the City Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. A. Call to Order Mayor Noon called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. B. Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Noon Council Member Dindinger Council Member Gardner Council Member Bosier Council Member McClellan Council Member Anderson Council Member Miller Council Member Weidmann Council Member Moon Those absent were: None Also present were: Jacque Wedding-Scott, City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Marie White, Director of Human Resources Kathie Guckenberger, Assistant City Attorney Don Wright, Support Services Manager Patty Fasso, Senior RIM Clerk Brenda Madison, City Clerk C. Total Compensation Review; 6:02 PM Marie White, Director of Human Resources, made a brief introduction. Claire Chavez, Wright Group, and Nicki Aggers and Candy Siderias, Mountain State Employers Council, presented and answered questions from Council. The meeting was recessed at 7:21 PM for the Regular Meeting. The meeting reconvened at 8:04 PM. Pawn Shop Ordinance - Briefing/Discussion; 8:05 PM Kathie Guckenberger, Assistant City Attorney, presented. Howard Gelt, attorney, was present and answered questions from Council. E. Executive Session (Moved from Regular Meeting) Council Member Moon moved to move TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION PURSUANT TO C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(F) TO DISCUSS A PERSONNELL MATTER FOR WHICH THE EMPLOYEE WHO IS THE SUBJECT OF THE EXECUTIVE SESSION HAS CONSENTED AND C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(E) REGARDING NEGOTIATION OF THE LEGAL SERVICES AND ASSOICATED SPACE LEASE AGREEMENT WITH WIDNER MICHOW COX LLP. Council Member Bosier seconded the motion. With Mayor Noon, Council Member Dindinger, Council Member Gardner, Council Member Bosier, Council Member McClellan, Council Member Anderson, Council Member Miller, Council Member Weidmann, Council Member Moon voting AYE, and (None) voting NAY; Absent: 0. THE MOTION Passed. a. Executive Session Pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(f) to Discuss a Personnel Matter for Which the Employee Who is the Subject of the Executive Session has Consented. b. Executive Session Pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402 (4) (e) Regarding Negotiation of the Legal Services and Associated Space Lease Agreement with Widner Michow Cox LLP F.
