Members Present: Gregory Suma, Richard Stys and Bernadette Helkowski. Members Absent: Danny Petroff and Michael Gerald. Also, Present: None AGENDA 1. Call to order: A. Election of Officers - Chairman Vice-Chairman Secretary Secretary Suma read into the record two emails from Danny Petroff and Michael Gerald both dated, January 14, 2020 indicating they would both like to continue in their current officer's position unless another trustee would be interested in the Chairman or Vice- chairman positions. Chairman: Seeing no one was interested in the Chairman position a motion was made by Trustee Stys to nominate and elect Danny Petroff as Chairman was seconded by Trustee Helkowski. AYES:3 NAYS: None Motion carried 3 - 0. ABSENT: Danny Petroff, Michael Gerald. Vice-Chairman: Seeing no one was interested in the Vice-Chairman position a motion was made by Trustee Helkowski to nominate and elect Michael Gerald as Vice-Chairman was seconded by Trustee Stys. AYES:3 NAYS: None Motion carried 3 - 0. ABSENT: Danny Petroff, Michael Gerald. Secretary: A motion was made by Trustee Helkowski to nominate and elect Gregory Suma as Secretary was seconded by Trustee Stys. AYES:3 NAYS: None Motion carried 3 - 0. AGENDA ITEM 4 - Approval of the minutes A. Approval of the Regular Meeting Minutes held on December 10, 2019. A motion by Trustee Stys to approve the minutes was seconded by Trustee Helkowski. AYES:3 NAYS: None Motion carried 3 - 0. ABSENT: Danny Petroff, Michael Gerald. AGENDA ITEM 5 - Remembrances A. Betty O'Lear deceased: December 14, 2019 Spouse of Joseph O'Lear retired Fire Sergeant May 1, 1981. Secretary Suma asked for a moment of silence in the passing of Mrs. O'Lear. AGENDA ITEM 6 - Presentations: A. None AGENDA ITEM 7 - For Your Information: A. GRS - News Scan December 2019 A motion by Trustee Stys to receive and file the GRS News Scan December 2019 was seconded by Trustee Helkowski. AYES:3 NAYS: None Motion carried 3 - 0. Refund of Contributions - Daniel Robertson resigned: July 15, 2019. Trustee Stys asked if the ledger balance of $1,069.69 are the contributions he is able to withdraw and Trustee Suma said yes. A motion by Trustee Helkowski to return Mr. Robertson's contributions to him was seconded by Trustee Stys. AYES:3 NAYS: None Motion carried 3 - 0. ABSENT: Danny Petroff, Michael Gerald. B. Discussion to change the date for the March 2020 P & F Retirement Commission meeting currently scheduled for the I@th. Trustee Suma said that Trustee Helkowski asked for the March meeting be moved as there is a Federal election that day and she will be working. Trustee Suma said he spoke with Trustees Petroff and Gerald and said they would be available on either March 1 9'h or March 24'h. Affer discussion, Trustee Helkowski moved to set the March meeting to the I 9'h at 2:30 p.m. was seconded by Trustee Stys. AYES:3 NAYS: None Motion carried 3 - 0. AGENDA ITEM 14 - Commission Members Comments Trustee Helkowski said there are three elections this year and tentatively a fourth but should not interfere with any of our other monthly meetings.
