The City of Chandler Parks and Recreation Board met for a special scheduled meeting
on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Chandler City Hall. Rick Ford, Park Board
Chairman called the meeting to order at 12:16 p.m. The invocation was given by Rick
Ford.
Members Present: Rick Ford, David Maronge, Kari Bersano, & Chad Wilson
Absent: Jeff Wood, Cody Seale, & Ann Hall
Staff Present: Sheila Haskins, Administrative Secretary, John Taylor, City Administrator
Visitor: Steve Kimbley
Item 1. Chad Wilson made a motion to split entry fees for ball tournaments but keep all
gate fees and concession and pay for umpires and half of awards. Kari Bersono
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Item 2. John Taylor updated the board on recent park improvements and upcoming
events. No board action required.
Meeting was adjourned at 12:44 p.m.

THE CITY OF CHANDLER PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD WILL MEET FOR A
SPECIAL SCHEDULED MEETING WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2013 AT CHANDLER CITY
HALL, CHANDLER, TEXAS AT 12 P.M. (NOON)

C. ROLL CALL AND ANNOUNCE IF QUORUM IS PRESENT
D. AGENDA CHANGES
E. VISITORS/CITIZENS FORUM: The Public may comment on any matter or concern
regarding the Parks and Recreation Board. Limited to the first five to sign up, each will be
allowed 5 minutes. No formal action or discussion will be taken at this time.
F. REGULAR SESSION: Subjects to be discussed or upon which any formal action may be
taken are as follows:
1. Discuss and recommend pricing and profit sharing for future non-league baseball and
softball tournaments at Winchester Park.
2. Updates on current and future Park’s projects.
G. ADJOURNMENT;

MEETING.

bulletin board, at the City Hall of the City of Chandler, Texas a place convenient and readily
accessible to the general public at all times, and said notice was posted on the following date and
time:
November 26, 2013, at 4:00pm and remained so posted at least 2 hours before said meeting was
convened.
