Announcements
Petitions
The Board discussed a draft of a petition from the Board to Town Council regarding
Neighborhood Conservation District ordinances.
A motion was made by Hatley, seconded by Parrish, to approve the petition with
minor edits and forward to Town Council. The motion carried by a unanimous vote.
Approval of Minutes
1. February 21, 2019 Meeting Minutes [19-0282]
A motion was made by Parrish, seconded by Hatley, to approve the February

21, 2019 meeting minutes. The motion carried by a unanimous vote.
2. March 7, 2019 Meeting Minutes [19-0283]
A motion was made by Parrish, seconded by Hatley, to approve the March 7,
2019 meeting minutes. The motion carried by a unanimous vote.
Old Business
New Business
The Board recognized that not enough members were present to make a decision
on the two variance cases on the agenda and agreed to postpone the hearings for
both cases.
3. After-the-Fact Dimensional Variance: 415 W Patterson Place [19-0284]
(Project 18-133)
4. Dimensional Variance: 1017 Laurel Hill Road (Project 19-014) [19-0285]
New Member Applications
The Board reviewed new member applications. A motion was made by Hatley,
seconded by Tetteh, to recommend all current members whose terms are
expiring, and also to recommend Murphy and Parrish for permanent seats. The
motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Parrish, seconded by Tetteh, to make no specific
recommendation to Council regarding the remaining aplicants, but to encourage
Council to appoint the two strongest candidates to the open alternate Town
positions, which can be filled more efficiently than the remaining two County
positions. The motion carried unanimously.
