Old Business Wireless Communication Initiative: Master Plan and Ordinance [18-0266] A motion was made that this Discussion Item be approved. Final Plan: Wegmans, Building Elevations [18-0163] The Commission Recommended approval of the Resolution and Ordinance for the Wireless Telecommunication Initiative. referred to the Community Design Commission New Business 3. Blue Hill Form District, Tarheel Lodging Redevelopment (Hong [18-0168] Kong Restaurant and Quality Inn demolition) An overview of the Design Alternatives and project proposed was presented. referredto the Community Design Commission due back on 4/24/2018 2. Chapel Hill High School Special Use Permit [18-0173] The Commission approved the project with 2 recommended additions to Resolution A: 1) provide additional plantings for the western property line adjacent to the residential area and 2) identify existing trees to be protected that are on the applicant's Tree Servey and save trees where possible. This Discussion Item wasapproved Reports 4. Design Award Sub-Committee Update [18-0170] referredto the Community Design Commission due back on 3/27/2018 5. Draft of Administrative Approvals [18-0172] Staff shared a draft list of potential administrative approvals. The Commission requested further refining language. This will be an on-going project. referred 6. Checklist for Applicants [18-0171] Page 2 of 3 Community Design Commission Meeting Minutes March 15, 2018 Staff suggested creating a list of topics for CDC recommendation of SUPswithin the CDC purview. referred to the Community Design Commission Adjournment Next Meeting - DATE Adjourned at 9:30 p.m. Order of Consideration of Agenda Items: 1. Should any member of the Body or any member of the public fail to observe this charge at any time, the Chair will ask the offending person to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until a genuine commitment to this public charge is observed.
