Announcements Petitions Approval of Minutes 1. Planning Commission Action Minutes for October 15, 2019 [19-0900] Chair Rees made an amendment to the minutes, requesting that the Blue Hill Massing item include comments stressing the importance of shared parking. A motion was made by Bench, seconded by Rummel, to approve the minutes as amended. The motion passed unanimously. Old Business 2. Review of Planning Commission Applicants for Vacant Orange [19-0789] County Seat The Planning Commission heard from two applicants for the Orange County appointed seat, James Baxter and Michael Murphy. A paper ballot was held at the end of the meeting, with Baxter receiving the Planning Commission's Page 1 of 3 Planning Commission Action Minutes November 5, 2019 recommendation in a vote of 5-3. New Business 3. Consider Amendments to Land Use Management Ordinance [19-0902] Articles 3 and 4 Pertaining to Conditional Zoning. A motion was made by Everhart, seconded by Rummel, that the Resolution of Consistency be recommended for approval. The motion carried by a unanimous vote. A motion was made by McCullough, seconded by Everhart, that Ordinance A be recommended for approval. The motion carried by a unanimous vote. 4. Decision on planning a future Planning Commission retreat [19-0901] A straw poll was held to determine interest in a Planning Commission retreat; a majority of Commission members expressed interest. A half-day retreat was agreed upon as a good length. Adjournment Next Meeting - November 19, 2019 A motion was made by Bench to adjourn the meeting; no second or vote. The Body asks the public to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with the Body and with fellow members of the public. Should any member of the Body or any member of the public fail to observe this charge at any time, the Chair will ask the offending person to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until a genuine commitment to this public charge is observed.
