Strother Murray-ndinga, Louie Rivers, and Erik Valera Page 1 of 3 Planning Commission Meeting Minutes March 19, 2024 Absent 1 - Vice-Chair Wesley Mcmahon Approval of Agenda Geoffrey Green made a motion, seconded by Strother Murray-Ndinga, to approve the agenda. The motion was carried by an 7-0 vote Announcements Petitions Approval of Minutes 1. February 20, 2024 Meeting Minutes [24-0139] Geoffrey Green made a motion, seconded by Erik Valera, to approve the February 20th, 2024 Meeting Minutes. The motion was carried by an 7-0 vote . New Business 2. Consider a Community Priority Conditional Zoning Application [24-0140] for Longleaf Trace at 1708-1712 Legion Road Erik Valera moved, and Chuck Mills seconded, a recommendation that the Council approve the Longleaf Trace Conditional Zoning District Application and find that it is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. The motion passed 7-0. 3. Rewriting Our Rules - A LUMO Update [24-0142] Adjournment Next Meeting - April 2, 2024 Order of Consideration of Agenda Items: 1. Staff Presentation 2. Applicant’s Presentation 3. Public Comment 4. Board Discussion 5. Motion 6. Restatement of Motion by Chair 7. Vote 8. Announcement of Vote by Chair Public Charge: The Advisory Body pledges its respect to the public. The Body asks the public to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous Page 2 of 3 Planning Commission Meeting Minutes March 19, 2024 manner, both with the Body and with fellow members of the public. Should any member of the Body or any member of the public fail to observe this charge at any time, the Chair will ask the offending person to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until a genuine commitment to this public charge is observed.
