Meeting Opening 1.1 Call to Order Chairperson Kirsten Chiaro called the Committee of the Whole meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. 1.2 Roll Call Present: Village Trustee Kristen Chiaro; Village Trustee Meredith Ferguson; Village Trustee John Fletcher; Village Trustee Carl Try; Village President Dave Kimsey Absent: Village Trustee Tim Nice; Village Trustee Brett Gerger Others Present: Village Manager Pat McCarthy; Village Attorney Andrew Jarmer; General Foremen Dustin Patterson; Police Chief Vern Foli and Village Clerk Dan Holden 2. Consent Agenda 2.1 Approve Minutes of Previous Committee of the Whole 1-14-25 A motion was made by Trustee Ferguson to bring the Consent Agenda to the table for discussion. This motion was seconded by Trustee Fletcher. By an affirmative voice vote of the members present, the motion passed and the Consent Agenda was approved. 3. Old Business There was no Old Business discussed at this meeting 4. New Business 4.1 CMT Engineering Updates Village Manager McCarthy noted that they Village is looking at where to spend MFT Money. Working with CMT Engineering to determine projects. One area will be the repairing of additional sections of the Bike Path. 4.2 Village Manager Update -Village Administration staff met with the Police Union to discuss a new contract. The Village submitted a counter proposal and will hear back from the Police Union in early March -The village got a call from a prospective high end data center business that needs 100-150 megawatts of electricity. -The IT issues within village government have gotten better. It has been a challenge dealing with the issues -the Village has spoken with the company working on space needs/layout of a new building. The plan would be to present to the Village Board in the near future. 4.3 Public Property & Recreation Committee Update -There are new benches at the Village Square in the DAR Garden. This was an Eagle Scout project. -The solar panel proposal on village property is still moving forward. Stay tuned as there will be more information at future meetings. 4.4 Public Comments Village Business There were no comments on Village Business at this meeting 5. Adjournment 7.1 A motion was made by Trustee Try to adjourn the Committee of the Whole Meeting. This motion was seconded by Trustee Fletcher.
