Call to Order Chairperson Rollo Saucier called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. 1. Pledge of Allegiance 2. Roll Call Present: Peggy Windisch; Craig Olson; Rollo Saucier; Joe Smith, Carl Try and Lisa Smith Absent: No one Others Present: Dan Holden 3. Public Comments There were no Public Comments during this meeting. B. Consent Agenda 1. Minutes from the PPRC meeting on September 9, 2024 A motion was made by Peggy Windisch to approve the meeting minutes from the January 13, 2025 meeting. This motion was seconded by Craig Olson. By an affirmative voice vote of the members present, the motion passed. C. Old Business 1. Current/proposed park maintenance projects Dustin Patterson was not present to provide a report from the Village of Chatham perspective. 2. Dog Park Update -Seeding and fertilizing the grass has started. Also, there is only a little more work to do to finish the shelter project 3. Chatham Pickleball Complex Update -Lots of use as the weather has gotten better. The Parks Committee is looking to buy a bike rack for the area around the Pickleball Courts. D. New Business 1. Parks Department Park Update -Joe Smith met with Dustin and Village Manager Pat McCarthy about what can be done regarding drainage between the football fields at Community Park. They are waiting to hear from Jim Michael, the Village Engineer to see what can be done. -Joe Smith also inquired about fencing or posts around the CCFL fields because people have been driving vehicles on the field and spinning tires. Will discuss with Dustin Patterson. -Peggy Windisch informed the Board that CBSI has its Opening Day on April 19, 2025. 350 kids have signed up to play baseball this year. For the Opening Day, there will be a parade and other festive activities throughout the day. E. Meeting Dates 1. Public Properties & Recreation Commission Meeting Municipal Hall May 12, 6:00 PM 2025 F. Closed Session There was no need for a Closed Session. There was no need for Closed Session during this meeting. G. Closing 1. Adjournment A motion was made by Craig Olson to adjourn the meeting. This motion was seconded by Peggy Windisch.
