accept a Track II Community Change Grant from the Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) to create an equitable process that raises awareness and engages
residents in disadvantaged communities inChattanooga,connectingclimatechange,
environmentaljustice,andthearts,andifawarded,theCityofChattanoogawillenter
into a Subrecipient Agreement with ArtsBuild through the grant period, for an
amount not to exceed $838,540.00, for a total grant amount not to exceed
$1,888,540.00.
POLICE
e. A resolution authorizing the Mayor or his designee to apply for, and if awarded,
accept FY24 COPS Technology and Equipment Program funds for technology and
efficiencyupgradeswhichwillbeusedtoupdateolderequipment,technologies,and
interoperable communication to assist in responding to and preventing crime,
appropriated through the FY24 Federal Community Project funding requested by
House Representative Chuck Fleischmann, for a period of two (2) years beginning
March 9, 2024, and ending March 31, 2026, for an amount not to exceed
$850,000.00.

f. A resolution to amend Resolution No. 32207 to state that RiverCity Company to
provide that RiverCityCompanywillprovideconsultingservicesfor“EvolvingOur

HamiltonCounty,Tennessee,andRiverCityCompanyforacostof$500,000.00from
the City and $700,000.00 from Hamilton County, not toexceed$1.2million,asset

g. AresolutionauthorizingtheappointmentofJasonPadgettasaSpecialPoliceOfficer

h. A resolution authorizing the appointment of Matthew Cooper as a Special Police
Officer (unarmed) for the City of Chattanooga, Department of Public Works, to
perform duties expressly limited to the performance of duties in his position as a
Building Inspector II.

$485,000.00.
