COUNCIL OF CHEVY CHASE VIEW Closed Session Date: January 15, 2024 Place: Meeting was held at 10401 Connecticut Avenue, Suite 103 Present: Ed Tarbutton, Chair; Tommy George; Nancy Somerville; Pete Marks; Helen Trybus Ron Bolt, Legal Counsel for Town, appearing remotely Denise Hitt, Town Manager Elizabeth Rembold, Assistant Town Manager Called to Order by Ed Tarbutton at 7:46 p.m. Closed Session. At 7:45 p.m., in open session, Tommy George made a motion to enter closed session, pursuant to Maryland Code, General Provisions Article § 3-305(b)(7) to consult with counsel to obtain legal advice regarding pending legislation and a building code enforcement matter. Nancy Somerville seconded the motion, and it passed by a vote of 5-0. The Council was advised by counsel on MCPG 116-25 and on building code enforcement issue. No action was taken. No action was taken. At 8:29 p.m., Tommy George made a motion to adjourn. Helen Trybus seconded the motion, and it passed by a vote of 5-0.
