COUNCIL OF CHEVY CHASE VIEW Closed Meeting Minutes Date: February 19, 2025 Place: Meeting was held at 10401 Connecticut Ave., Suite 103 Present: Ed Tarbutton; Chair, Nancy Somerville, Pete Marks, Tommy George and Helen Trybus, Council members Ron Bolt, Legal Counsel for Town, appearing remotely Denise Hitt, Town Manager Elizabeth Rembold, Assistant Town Manager Called to Order by Ed Tarbutton at 8:39 p.m. Closed Session. At 8:38 p.m., in open session, Tommy George made a motion to enter closed session, pursuant to Maryland Code, General Provisions Article § 3-305(b)(7) to consult with counsel to obtain legal advice regarding a building code enforcement matter. Helen Trybus seconded the motion, and it passed by a vote of 5-0. The Council was advised by counsel on a building code enforcement issue. No action was taken. Motion to Adjourn Closed Session: At 8:50 pm, Helen Trybus moved that the Closed Session meeting be adjourned. Tommy George seconded the motion, and it passed 5-0.
