Members Present Tillotson(Zoom), Labrie, Roy, Pniak-Costello, Krampits Also Present Dan Garvey (Associate City Solicitor), Councilor Laflamme, Councilor Zygarowski, Councilor López (Zoom), The meeting was called to order at 6:15 PM In compliance with the Open Meeting Law the Chairman asked if anyone in the audience was recording the meeting. Hearing none the meeting continued. The meeting was called to order at 6:15 PM Councilor Krampits motion to amend Item #1 – Councilor Roy 2nd the motion – motion passed ITEM #1 Mayoral appointment of Eric D. Oulette to the Planning Board. Councilor Krampits would like to amend the order to serve until April 1st 2024. The Amended version reads as. Mayoral appointment of Eric D Oulette to the Planning Board expiring on the 1st day of April 1, 2024. Roll Call Vote Yes No Tillotson X Labrie X Roy X Pniak-Costello X Krampits X Eric Oulette stated he is currently the Executive Director for the Greater Westfield Chamber of Commerce. Working with the Chamber and bringing businesses into the City of Westfield has been something that he has 1 been passionate about for the past two years that he’s been there. Anytime a business can come into the city to help promote the downtown area and the city itself. He stated now he cannot serve on a committee in Westfield because he does not live there or own a business. He and his wife moved to Chicopee about eighteen months ago. He stated he would like to get more involved with our city and civil service is key to any city thriving. He stated his expertise and knowledge will be an asset and a value to the Planning Board as we move forward here.
