Members Present Vieau, Brooks, Laflamme, Krampits, Tillotson Members Absent Roy, McLellan Also Present Daniel Garvey (Associate City Solicitor), Councilor Roy (At-Large), Councilor Zygarowski, Meeting called to order at 6:31 PM In compliance with the Open Meeting Law the Chairman asked if anyone in the audience was recording the meeting. Dennis from the Chicopee Register stated he was recording the meeting. ITEM #1 Application for a Special Permit under section 275-58 for the purpose of transferring ownership located at 66 Cabot Street. Applicant Paul Moreira 72 Ondrick Drive Chicopee, MA 01020 Applicant was present at the meeting with his Attorney Jason Herrick. Paul Moreira stated that he wants to transfer ownership from Mr. Hardy. Councilor Tillotson asked will this still be a neighborhood bar. 1 Paul Moreira answered it will still be a neighborhood bar with comedy shows. Councilor Brooks stated the bar is clean, very well lit and a good place to go. Dan Garvey mentioned concerns from the neighbors that there will be no adult entertainment. Paul Moreira stated that there will be no adult entertainment. Councilor Roy added it’s a very nice establishment. Councilor Laflamme motioned to approve – Councilor Vieau 2nd the motion – motion passed. Restrictions No adult entertainment Permit to run with the applicant Committee vote 5 – 0 favorable ITEM #2 Minutes – July 28, 2015. Motion made to approve. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:35 PM. 2
