Approval of Bills: Warrants dated May 2nd and May 9th D. Public Input: Each speaker is asked to direct their comments to the Chair and keep their remarks to 5 minutes. E. Communications: 1. Request from the Church Softball League to hold a softball tournament on Saturday, August 2nd from 7am to 7pm. Rain date would be Saturday, August 8th. 2. Request from Keith Allen of the Springfield Thunderbirds to hold a Community Caravan event at Sarah Jane Park on Saturday, July 19th from 12pm to 2pm. 3. Request from Ben Masse to hold the Chicopee Cup soccer tournament at Williams Park on Saturday, August 16th. 4. Request from Todd daCuhna of the Pioneer Valley Baseball League for field use at Szot Park for playoff baseball games on Tuesday, August 5th and Tuesday, August 12th. 5. Request from Stacy Gonzalez to hold a wedding ceremony at Rivers Park Pavilion on Saturday, June 21st. 6. Request from Principal Jon Endelos of Dupont Middle School to use Szot Park to launch model rockets on Monday, June 9th. Rain date would be Wednesday, June 11th. 7. Request from Lawrence Kilpatrick of On the Line Training to hold a football clinic at Szot Park on Saturday, July 12th or July 19th from 9am to 3pm. 8. Request from Sunshine Village to install a Free Library at Rivers Park. 9. Other Communications F. Maintenance Report: 1. Parks Labor Force: Current Park openings: (1) 6L – Public Works Craftsman, (4) 5L – MEO/Laborer, (4) Temporary Laborers. All other positions are filled. G. Recreation Report: 1. Adult Rec Programs: Tang Soo Do Korean Martial Arts, Yoga – Ended April 22nd 2. Adult Rec Leagues: Softball – Games began May 4th 3. Youth Rec Leagues: Youth Baseball/Softball – Practices on-going. Games began April 26th 4. Youth Rec Programs: Tang Soo Do Korean Martial Arts. Gold Star Zoo – On-going. 5. Aquatics: Lifeguard Recertification – Beginning May 21st 6. Safety: CPR/First Aid/AED –May 17th 7. Trips: Boston Red Sox at Chicago Cubs – July 18-21. Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees – August 24th 8. OPEE: June 30th – August 8th 9. Events: Fireworks – June 28th, Movie Nights – July 11th and August 8th. National Night Out – August 6th 10. Concerts: Aldenville Summer Concerts – July 1st – August 12th. 11.
