TOWN OF CICERO TOWN COUNCIL STAFF MEETING MINUTES OCTOBER 13, 2022 at 7:00 PM Call to Order: Vice President Blueher called the meeting to order. Present: Chad Blueher Absent: Chad Amos Jerry Cook Chris Lutz Dan Strong Others Present: Rhonda Gary, Clerk Treasurer 1. Town Council – a. Mr. Strong disbursed a handout to illustrate the sidewalk issue at Sullivan’s Hardware. In the end, council was not in favor of providing financial assistance to Sullivan’s to make repairs. b. Mr. Strong disbursed a handout and touched on updates involving plan commission update procedures. 2. Parks – Parks Superintendent Hunter started the conversation by asking the council if they are interested in a park board. Discussion ensued. Mr. Cook gave his account of the previous park board. Superintendent Hunter discussed the pros and cons of a park board. In the end, the council agreed with Mr. Lutz that they are in favor of spending additional time looking into a park board. 3. Plan – Plan Commissioner Zawadzki had nothing to present. Mr. Lutz suggested that Plan Commissioner Zawadzki work with developers to enhance Cicero’s parks. 4. Fire – Chief Overholser was not present. 5. Police – Chief Rednour had nothing to present. 6. Water/Wastewater – Mr. Cooper was not present. 7. Clerk Treasurer – Ms. Gary stated that the budget ordinance will be revisited at the next council meeting. 8. Community Development – Ms. Kmicikewycz was not present.
