TOWN OF CICERO TOWN COUNCIL STAFF MEETING MINUTES FEBRUARY 16, 2023 at 7:00 PM Call to Order: President Blueher called the meeting to order. Present: Chad Blueher Absent: Jerry Cook Joe Cox Eric Hayden Chris Lutz Others Present: Rhonda Gary, Clerk Treasurer Dan Strong, Project Coordinator 1. Town Council – a. 2022 Fund Balances – Mr. Lutz and CT Gary reviewed the fund balances excel spreadsheet that CT Gary created for the council. Mr. Lutz spoke briefly about the uses and importance of the data presented. b. Snow and Sidewalk Discussion – Mr. Hayden stated that he has spoken with Director Cooper about the sidewalk in front of the town hall and it has been rectified. c. Main Street Discussion – Council discussed the options concerning the traffic flow and pattern at Main and Jackson Street. Mr. Herron offered some input from the fire department’s perspective. The council touched on several issues with safety at the top of the list. In the end, the council agreed that they would like to have a comprehensive thoroughfare plan study completed. 2. Parks – Superintendent was not present. 3. Plan – Commissioner Zawadzki was not present. 4. Fire – Chief Overholser was not present. 5. Police – Chief Rednour was not present. 6. Water/Wastewater – Director Cooper was not present. 7. Clerk Treasurer – Ms. Gary had nothing to present. 8. Project Development – Mr. Strong had nothing to present. 1 Motion to Adjourn: Mr. Hayden made the motion. Mr. Cox seconded, motion carried.
