Pursuant to the local emergency concerning the COVID-19 virus declared by the City Council of the City of Claremont on March 19, 2020, the Los Angeles County Department of Health's "Safer at Home Order" issued March 19, 2020, and Executive Order N-29-20 issued by Governor Gavin Newsom on March 18, 2020, the following protocols will apply to public participation for the duration of the emergency: Members of the public will not be permitted to be physically present at meetings. To allow for public participation, the City Council will conduct its meeting through Zoom Video Communications. For assistance, please call (909)399-5461 or (909)399-5463. Members of the public who wish to address the City Council may utilize the following methods. The Council requests, but does not require, the public speakers to identify themselves. OPTION 1: LIVE COMMENTS - Through Zoom, someone wishing to speak may virtually "raise your hand". Wait to be called upon by the City Clerk, and then you may provide verbal comments for up to four minutes. If you are dialing in by telephone and wish to speak, please push *9.
