SELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Traffic and Transportation Commission nominate and select a Chair and Vice Chair. 2. UPDATE ON RECENT REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENTS, BY COLIN TUDOR - ORAL REPORT Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Traffic and Transportation Commission receive the oral report. PUBLIC COMMENT This time has been set aside for persons in the audience to make comments on items within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Traffic and Transportation Commission that ARE NOT LISTED ON THIS AGENDA. Members of the audience will have the opportunity to address the Traffic and Transportation Commission about ALL OTHER ITEMS ON THIS AGENDA at the time those items are considered. Under the provisions of the Brown Act, the Traffic and Transportation Commission is prohibited from taking action on oral requests but may refer the matter to staff or to a subsequent meeting. The Traffic and Transportation Commission will respond after public comment has been received. Please state your name. Each speaker will be limited to four (4) continuous minutes. DRAFT TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES OF JULY 27, 2017 Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Traffic and Transportation Commission approve and file the draft Traffic and Transportation Commission meeting minutes of July 27, 2017. PUBLIC HEARING 4. GOLD LINE GRADE SEPARATION Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Traffic and Transportation Commission recommend the City Council concur with the Gold Line Construction Authority's plan to submit the Indian Hill Boulevard crossing of the Gold Line tracks above grade, with the agreement from the Construction Authority that the bridge will be designed as proposed by the City in the revised conceptual design, and direct staff to continue to work with the community, the Construction Authority, and the design-build contractor on details of the bridge and abutment design.
