CLARKSVILLE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL SESSION October 20, 2021, 5:30 P.M. MINUTES CALL TO ORDER The special session of the Clarksville City Council was called to order by Mayor Joe Pitts on Wednesday, October 20, at 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 106 Public Square, Clarksville, Tennessee. Mayor pro Tem Smith led everyone in prayer; the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilperson Reynolds. ATTENDANCE PRESENT: Brian Zacharias (Ward 1), Wallace Redd (Ward 4), Ambar Marquis (Ward 5), Wanda Smith (Ward 6), Travis Holleman (Ward 7), Wanda Allen (Ward 8) Karen Reynolds (Ward 9), Stacey Streetman (Ward 10), Ashlee Evans (Ward 11), Trisha Butler (12) ABSENT: Vondell Richmond (Ward 2), DaJuan Little (Ward 3), ROBINSON V. CITY A. ORDINANCE 45-2021-22 (Second Reading) Approving a settlement of the Robinsons and/or Franklin Street Corporation (FSC) v. City, State Court and Federal Court lawsuits Councilperson Butler Councilperson Butler made a motion to adopt the ORDINANCE 45-2021-22. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Reynolds. The following vote was recorded: AYE: Allen, Butler, Evans, Holleman, Marquis, Pitts, Redd, Reynolds, Smith, Streetman, Zacharias The motion to adopt the ORDINANCE 45-2021-22 (Second Reading) passed. 2021 REAPPORTIONMENT NON-VOTING WORK SESSION A. Elizabeth Black, Administrator of Elections, and Jeffrey Tyndall, Regional Planning Director gave a presentation on the reapportionment for the City of Clarksville, TN. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 6:37 pm.
