CLARKSVILLE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL SESSION December 14, 2021 MINUTES CALL TO ORDER A special session of the Clarksville City Council was called to order by Mayor Joe Pitts on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 106 Public Square, Clarksville, Tennessee. A prayer was offered by Councilperson Wallace Redd; the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilperson Wanda Allen. ATTENDANCE PRESENT: Brian Zacharias (Ward 1), Wallace Redd (Ward 4), Wanda Smith (Ward 6), Travis Holleman (Ward 7), Karen Reynolds (Ward 9), Stacey Streetman (Ward 10), Ashlee Evans (Ward 11), Trisha Butler (Ward 12) ABSENT: DaJuan Little (Ward 3), Ambar Marquis (Ward 5) Wanda Allen (Ward 8), Vondell Richmond (Ward 2) FINANCE COMMITTEE 1. ORDINANCE 59-2021-22 (Second Reading) Approving the amendment to ORDINANCE 45-2021-22 pertaining to a settlement of the Robinsons and/or Franklin Street Corporation (FSC) v. City State Court and Federal Court Lawsuits Councilperson Streetman made a motion to adopt this Ordinance. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Butler. The following vote was recorded:  AYE: Butler, Evans, Holleman, Pitts, Redd, Reynolds, Smith, Streetman, Zacharias The motion to adopt ORDINANCE 59-2021-22 (Second Reading) passed. NEW BUSINESS ORDINANCE 68-2021-22 (First Reading) Accepting the donation of certain real property front he Christian Family to the City of Clarksville for right-of-way purposes for the Spring Creek Parkway. Councilperson Streetman made a motion to adopt this Ordinance. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Holleman. Mr. Baker explained that the Chrisitan will donate the right-of-way for the parkway with approval for right in and right out for their property which will still be adjacent. The following vote was recorded: AYE: Butler, Evans, Holleman, Pitts, Redd, Reynolds, Smith, Streetman, Zacharias The motion to adopt ORDINANCE 68-2021-22 (Second Reading) passed.
